St. Patrick's Day Tote Bag!

I know I'm an extra day early, but I was so excited with my next design and I couldn't wait to get this out there. Tomorrow is St Patricks Day! And I know, we're all familiar with the street parades, green t-shirts, Irish dancing, music and in some cases pints of Guinness that signify St Patrick's Day - but what do we know of St Patrick himself?

Essentially, St Paddy was a great missionary who set out to spread the word of God across Ireland. He was born in either in Roman England, Scotland or Wales, and was kidnapped with a number of other teenage children and sold into slavery in Ireland - where he started talking with God. But after escaping Ireland, he travelled to France and where he became a bishop.  Then, with the Pope's blessing, he set off back to Ireland as a missionary. For 20 years He traveled throughout Ireland, establishing monasteries across the country. He also set up school and churches, which would aid him in his conversion. It is thought that on 17th March 461AD, St Patrick died and has since become on this day that the Irish choose to celebrate their heritage and culture.

While I was reading about the history of St Patrick, I was reminded of the Romans 10:15 and how beautiful the feet are of St Patrick. So to celebrate the memory of a great missionary, I made a little design for a budget tote bag. AND since we here at LetThemWorship like to give - you better believe that 100% proceed of purchases made DURING MARCH & APRIL will be donated to the missionaries working with Gospel For Asia!
